Can't believe how fast time goes!

Hey mom and dad,
It’s great to hear from you guys. I also cannot believe how fast time goes, like it scares me. That’s one thing I have been thinking about a lot lately is making it all count. This guy Elder Atkinson, one of the senior couples, gave a cool talk at our leadership training meeting thing and he said "when you are on the plane ride going home wouldn’t you rather say I’m glad I did, rather then I wish I would have" so I thought that was really cool. It hit me hard when he said that and it made me want to really try a lot harder then I have been, not saying I have not been trying but I really want to say that I gave 2 years to the Lord, nothing less.
Not too much has happened this week, but we are teaching some great people. I don’t know if I told you guys about this man named Neilson. He is from a country called Burundi (that could be spelled completely wrong) and he lived there with his wife, and was in the army. But the army was having him kill innocent people and children and really terrible things so he basically told them that he would not do the things that they wanted him to do, so he was kicked out of the country and sent to South Africa as a refuge. His wife is still back in Burundi and she also had twin boys that he still has not seen. So now he is trying to save money for them to come to South Africa because if he goes back there they will kill him. So it’s just a crazy situation, we are in the process of teaching him English, and the gospel at the same time. It’s just sad though he is the coolest guy. You will never see him without a smile on his face and he still thanks God for everything even though he has basically been through hell. Just think about being kicked out of your country, being forced to leave your family and not even being able to see your own children all because he was just doing what was right and he is continuing to do what is right. So that’s one of the guys we are teaching but he is a way cool guy.
But thanks for all the emails I’m actually almost out of time though, but I have not gotten the package yet I will not be able to get it until we go down to Joburg so unless one of us gets transferred this coming week I am going to have to wait another 6 weeks unless the zone leaders come up here, but love you both I’ll talk to you guys next week.
Love, Justin
